On October 24th, 2011 SIGRIS was activated for the Mw=7.2 Van earthquake (Eastern Turkey),  occurred on October 23rd.

On September 6th, 2010 SIGRIS was activated for the Mw=7.1 Darfield (or Canterbury) earthquake (New Zealand),  occurred on September 4th.

In the following months various activities were carried out by SIGRIS for this earthquake and for the following aftershocks, including the February 22nd, Christchurch aftershock.
